A powerful Sisterhood of Awesomeness is emerging and they’re here to boldly rule their worlds.
These kick-ass ladies are total Renegades Queens and embody everything bold, courageous and powerful about being a women. They both scare and inspire the people around them with her fierce determination to follow their dreams, fly their freak flags and live kick-ass lives.
These powerful creatrixes choose themselves, their dreams, feeling good and being happy above all else by saying “no fucking way” to living a life based other people’s expectations, following the rules, and fitting in; and saying a big “Hell Yes!!” to flying their freak flags and making their dreams come true.
The path to sovereignty isn’t easy. It’s full of uncertainty and hard choices because you’re making it up as you go along, but these kick-ass ladies have learned to trust themselves and let their inner wisdom be their guides as the set their lives up to fit them perfectly.
They’ve discovered the power and sweet FREEDOM in doing what feels right to them and there’s no going back.
Here are 7 sure signs you belong in this Sisterhood of Awesomeness.
1. You demand absolute freedom, independence, and to be in control of your own destiny.
You hate working for someone else and nothing drains you faster than the drudgery of having to do the same boring crap day in and day out and feeling stuck in a situation that doesn’t feed your soul.
You cringe when someone starts telling you what to do and can feel the resistance come up when people start throwing shoulds at you. (Even if you feel you might like to do it). You NEED to make your own choices and have a lot of options.
You have no desire to fit in and live the same kind of life as everyone else; you’re holding out for something better….something extraordinary….that feels good and fits you perfectly.
You want lots of space to do the things you love. Your ultimate goal is to wake up every day and ask- “What do I WANT to do today?”, rather than “What do I HAVE to do?”
2. You fly your freak flag high and proud.
You’ve always felt a bit different from the people around you and had a hard time fitting-in and following the rules, it felt so un-natural! As you got older, you decided it was better to embrace who YOU are than trying to be someone else.
Self- expression and being YOU is a driving force in your life. You crave authenticity and know deep down in your soul that you are here to be fully self-expressed, enjoy life and share your magic with the world.
Everything you do is a form of self-expression: Coloring your hair purple, getting tattoo’s, wearing funky cloths and glitter, your art, your relationships, the way you live your life. It all has to feel like YOU.
You endeavor to fully show up and be vulnerable; say how you feel, share your heart, soul and dreams, and people love you for it.
Matter of fact, NOT fully showing up and being you feels super wonky….painful even.
One of the things you fear most is not being true to yourself and speaking your whole heart to the world; you know how much everyone, yourself included, misses out when you don’t.
3. You are a powerful Creatrix.
You NEED to spend your time doing something creative, meaningful and fulfilling. You want to feel turned on, purposeful and energized.
Because this is so important to you, you sometimes have a hard time deciding what to do with your time. You’re no stranger to over analyzing the options or second guessing your choices. You don’t want to waste your time.
You’ve have a love / hate relationship with goal setting. In the past, you wore yourself out pushing and striving towards your goals because you believed working hard and keeping tight control meant something was important to you.
Now you’re more interested in being in right relationship with getting what you want. You’re more concerned with how you feel in your life than achieving “goals”.
You’re learning how to move towards your dreams without pushing.
Making shit happen comes naturally to you. You learned early on how to use your magic to create what you want, it’s figuring out what next bit of awesomeness to go after that slows you down.
It can be hard to decide where to put your energy. What if you choose something and it sucks?
4. You are a born leader, even if you resist that notion some of the time.
You get things done. People look up to you and you make an impression because you aren’t afraid to make bold moves and express your opinions.
You have big energy and have been told that you are too big or intense. (What do they know?)
The truth is, you’re not always comfortable with being in charge; it feels like a BIG commitment and you’re not really good at that.
Commitment feels like confinement, lots of Have To’s, and you’re still trying to figure out how to BE committed but still feel free, this is why doing your own things feels way easier to you.
When you are working with other people you need to be in charge, or at least in a leadership role. You need to be heard and seen and know you matter.
5. You know how freaking awesome you are, and have very high expectations of yourself;
too bad they are often totally unreasonable and impossible to live up to.
Because of this, you sometimes slip into a space of self-doubt and beating yourself up. You want to make good choices and get things right for yourself and the people who depend on you.
You seem confident on the outside, but are still learning to trust yourself, your intuition and feelings, especially when something is really important to you and you feel vulnerable. It’s an evolving process.
You don’t need to be saved, fixed or healed, but there are certainly things you’d like to improve.
You worry about staying focused, motivated and inspired and this causes you to judge the ebb and flow of your attention and energy and feel really uncomfortable with lots of downtime.
Boundaries can be a challenge, as can staying plugged into all the good stuff. Its way too easy to slip into thinking about all the things that aren’t working for you and that is so not where you want your energy flowing.
You know the power of loving yourself, the importance of self- awareness, and the peace in self-acceptance; and you actively cultivate your relationship with YOU by investing in yourself.
6. You are committed to feeling good in all aspects of your life.
You’re very sensual and into experimenting and trying new things. You enjoy life and are into good food and hanging out with friends.
How you feel is important to you. It’s more important than achieving goals, material things, and looking good.
You’ve walked away from jobs and relationships that looked good on paper, but just didn’t feel right to you. You finally figured out, instead of making the situation and everyone else in it wrong, and being angry and making up stories to justify leaving; you could simply say “this is not for me” and walk away.
You pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, what you put into your body, what you say, and do. You worry when you get caught up in negative thoughts. You don’t want to give energy to that shit.
Sometimes it feels like you’re trying too hard to be good. You’re holding on too tightly trying to control your impulses.
Part of you wants to say FUCK IT; drink more, smoke more pot, have sex with the wrong people, stay up way too late, eat pizza at midnight and indulge in a big piece of chocolate cake every now and then. Hey…maybe you will.
7. You crave connection and to be surrounded by other kick-ass ladies.
It’s been challenging to find women who’ll meet you where you are and are also committed to ruling their worlds. You have zero interest in gossip and have found yourself to be the focus of it way too often.
You crave deep meaningful conversation with people who will call you on your shit while they’re reflecting your awesomeness back to you.
Supporting and uplifting, rather than competing with each other. Women who are bold and courageous and teaching the world a thing or two about what is possible and how freaking amazing life can be.
Imagine what you could accomplish if you had the support of a Sisterhood of Awesomeness?
There would be no stopping you!
