5 STEPS TO HAVE A CLEARER SHAMANIC JOURNEY

    by Nora Wallace

A Shamanic Journey is a way to navigate the Spirit World to find solutions to problems.

Here are five steps you can take to have a clearer Shamanic Journey:

    1. Set your Intention

The most important part of the Shamanic Journey is the intent.  What is the reason for your journey?

Usually the purpose of a Shamanic Journey is to find a solution to a problem in the form of a wisdom teaching or a healing.

Figure out what that problem is and stay focused on it.  Don’t stray to other questions.

For example, if you decide to journey to your Spirit Guide for a healing with your relationship to money, don’t start asking them about romance.

    2. Listen to the answer.

You may not understand exactly what’s happening on your journey as you experience it, but later when you come out of it, it makes more sense to you.

While you’re on your journey, simply allow yourself to experience what’s happening.

Don’t try to interpret it as it’s happening.  Leave the analyzing for later!

    3. Be open minded and curious

Be open minded about what you experience on your journey.  There are times when what you experience on your journey makes no sense to you.

During those times, keep focusing on the intent of your journey, and be curious about what will happen next.

That will keep your journey moving along and bring you to a point of understand what your Spirit Guides are trying to tell you.

    4. Be self aware

Experiment with journeying at different times of the day.

Notice what state you are in mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and how that affects your journey.

Use this information to craft more effective journeys for yourself.

For example, if you find out that you have much sharper journeys in the morning after you’ve had your coffee, set that time to do your journeys.

If you find that you have much clearer journeys in the evening when your mind is starting to slow down, do your journeys then.

Also, notice how you best receive psychic impressions.  Do you see visually, sense physically, or do you “just know”?

That will give you some idea as to what to expect on your journey.

    5. Apply the guidance/advice you receive in your life

Always write down exactly what happens on your journey immediately afterward.

This will help you to understand the meaning of what happened on your journey, and how to apply it in your life.

There’s no point to going on a Shamanic Journey if you’re not going to apply the guidance you’ve received.

Even if it seems challenging to you to apply the wisdom and healing you receive in your journeys, you wouldn’t have gotten those messages if you couldn’t handle it.

Your guides will always be there to support you after your journey.  All you have to do is communicate with them, and ask for assistance.
